BeSafe® Technologies -

Over the past decade we have seen, with tragic results, how natural disaster and reckless acts of violence can impact a school facility or campus. It has become evident that an emergency management plan without easily accessible critical infrastructure information is problematic. To ensure safety and effectively resolve emergencies, educational institutions need a complete system that fully engages and integrates with all emergency response teams.

BeSafe - the leading incident response system - facilitates the sharing of important tactical information between school administrators and emergency first responders in real time, providing critical multi-dimensional information.

BeSafe delivers accurate and detailed information including floor plans, building demographics and any unique features found on site, and places this information directly in the hands of police, fire, SWAT and other emergency teams. In the event of an emergency, information is instantly accessible so critical decisions can be made quickly and effectively.

US Dept. of Education 2016 Campus Safety Handbook ( New Window)

This handbook was developed by the U.S. Department of Education to present step-by-step procedures, examples, and references for higher education institutions to follow in meeting the campus safety and security requirements of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended. This handbook replaces the 2011 version and includes information on how institutions can comply with the changes the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 made to the Clery Act.
